tomcat security-constraint

Hi All!

Would anyone have any idea as to why tomcat5.5 installed from the
repositories and running as a daemon using jsvc would not correctly
match the url-pattern (such as /jsp/*) in the security constraint of a
web.xml file of my web application.

Interestingly enough the same configuration works perfectly fine, when
I use another installation of tomcat downloaded directly from Apache.

Any interesting points, perhaps, configuration/policy parameters which
I'm missing from /etc/tomcat5.5/*
