[Feisty] Normal ways to kill xserver don't work

To stop xserver from running, run the particular command in console,
'sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop'
if Gnome Desktop environment is used,
'sudo /etc/init.d/kdm stop,
if KDE desktop environment is used.
