Have a look at some of them and you'll see that they are being looked at
and sometimes worked on. You  have to appreciate that OOo is (one of)?
the biggest single applications in Ubuntu. And the process for getting a
patch through the official channels is long and hard (from what I've
read in 'Linux Format').
