Yes, but this just makes things slightly better. Usually, I do fire off
my MUA in the very morning after booting into my machine and shut it
down in the evening before travelling home. In the meantime, having
quite an active mail spool and a lot of junk mail which is filtered,
deleted, yet not expunged, I can watch my IMAP connections drastically
slow down at least past noon given I don't manually compress folders on
the accounts in question. The point is: I don't see no real need for
this kind of behaviour. At least having a way of switching it off via
configuration would be quite helpful. Not talking about the
"move-to-Trash"- behaviour...
