Whatever I try I cant get Evolution to filter spam;)

I have been using Evolution for years and all has been glorious and
shiny.  However recently it has stopped filtering spam (I think it
started playing up after I upgraded to Edgy).  I have tried bogofilter
and spamassasin (checking the plugin is checked and the respected
package is installed).  But no luck;). I have taken to using gmail for
all my email as it has very good spam filtering.

Any ideas,
