I have done this, used module assistant and also did it manually. Added
the module spca5xx to /etc/modules and verified it has loaded.
I have also been told to upgrade to Feisty which will solve the
problem.  Running the liveCD of Feisty gives me the webcam.
I will wait for the stable release in Apr.
