wireless security

I installed network manager and followed the instructions for kubuntu w/
KNetworkManager, but no luck. KNetworkManager doesn't recognize my
connection (doesn't show any wireless networks) even though it seems to be
supported by wpa_supplicant.

Any suggestions?
Paul
