Come to think of it I went through a lot of pain to get my Web Cam
working on Feisty 7.04 but It never worked on 6.10

I had to in stall the new driver.

*First *I re-installed the driver to see if would help ( read through to
the Second attempt )

*Second *I re-installed the *NEW *driver

GO here and repeat the install ( I did it manually )

After that I ran Xawtv and Camorama ran great ( I have a built-in mic
that still does not work )

just for reference my lsusb shows:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0ac8:0302 Z-Star Microelectronics Corp. ZC0302 WebCam

If I confused you sorry. I wen t through may steps it seems but it is
working ( execpt for the mic )
