once i want to use ubuntu, but due to following prob, i drop the idea.

after i install ubuntu from dvd, it runs good. but when i tried to install
some extra software packages using add/remove utility, it always displays
this error message

"this application is not available for your system architecture"

my machine is
p4, 1.7GHz, 256 MB RAM, 80 GB samsung HDD
what's wrong with my system architecture....

i can't install k3b, amarok, kstar, bluetooth almost nothing.

now i'm using Fedora 5.
