using growisofs

man growisofs:

growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd=image.iso

Where /dev/dvd is the device of your DVD burner, and image.iso is the
dvd iso image.  Use the command:  dmesg to figure out what your dvd
drive is on the system.
