Could you please be a little more verbose on what you mean by talking
about "standard" / "normal" hardware? ;) I have run an Xubuntu 6.10
installation atop an old PII-350 (512 MB RAM), and it was a pleasant
experience. Your mileage might vary of course, depending on your very
hardware...
