I've been using ndiswrapper with this WiFi card with Dapper, Edgy and
now Feisty, no problesm. I tried use fwcutter and found it flaky. I
used
http://tinyurl.com/2ncuen
starting from point 7 on:
1) disable bcm43xx in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist so they don't try to get loaded
2) install ndiswrapper and the latest version of the utilities (now it's 1.9)
3) get the Windows driver
3) set up ndiswrapper to use the driver (in my case bcmwl5.inf)
4) make sure you have Network Manager installed if running Dapper or Edgy
4) ndiswrapper -l, reboot
5) Let Network Manager handle the connection
all good, even in Feisty
