google desktop out for linux?

Same here. A lot of people recently seem to have given up on privacy,
not thinking twice anymore about giving away quite a lot of personal
data without actually asking why, for which reason, following which
motivation they are collected and how they potentially could be abused.
Not worrying about personal data is a pretty dangerous thing to do in
an age of "preventive surveillance" and globally linked networks...
