problem installing gparted

I tried dpkg, but that doesn't work either:
"sudo dpkg -i gparted" produces the following
dpkg: error processing gparted (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing: gparted
So I tried a different approach that thankfully worked. I went on a
different computer (one with an Internet connection), and searched for
gparted on http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/, saved the package onto my USB
drive, and brought it over to my Ubuntu computer. Double-clicking on the
package brings up GDebi Package Installer. At first, it complained of
several missing dependency packages, so I had to download and install those
first. After I did all that, it let me install gparted, so now Gnome
Partition Editor is up and running.
Hooray! :-)
Thanks to all for your suggestions
