Change default app for DVD playback

on my Ubuntu box it seems that Totem is the default application for DVD
playback. I don't really like Totem and would prefer to use Xine as the
default. If I am playing a DVD it is a simple matter of quitting Totem when
it starts up automatically and starting Xine... but my girlfriend doesn't
want to have to remember all of this technical stuff. Is there a way I can
change what app automatically deals with DVDs within Ubuntu.
