The Ubuntu logo is valuable in that it identifies the Ubuntu brand.
This new Microsoft logo could be argued to be similar enough to give a
reasonable person the idea that there is some endorsement of Microsoft
by Ubuntu / Canonical.
While I normally find these sorts of issues somewhat silly, at first
blush, this Microsoft logo does look like it could use a cease and
desist letter.
