Can not download / Install any add-ons and theme for FireFox 2.0.0.4

Hi Folks

I just did a fresh install of 7.04, update and enabled beryl
when i fire up FireFox and try to install add-ons, it does nothing when i
click on "install" on the website

after wait for like 3 min or something, the windows finally shows up so i
can click on install

then it gives back an error say:

"FireFox could not install file at:

<location of the add-on"

because download error
-288"

not sure if it is the site's problem or FireFox' problem

any idea?
