Live CD/Partitioning ?

If i were you, id put more ram in. I know that ubuntu requires ~256mb ram, but 
i have 390 in this machine and i noticed that it tends to run out of ram 
quickly and i have to reboot. (thats probably because i run alot of software 
on ubuntu at the same time).

And for others out there, i know that ubuntu caches ram and gives back the 
cached ram when it is needed..
