Why does OpenOffice.org suck worse than MS Office?

I would say that someone has responded in the year since Dapper to
problems such as those of the OP but he hasn't been listening. It would
appear from my enquiries that many people have been experiencing this
problem under Dapper.

I *think* the problem of non-existent video and audio playback was
solved under Edgy, it definitely is under Feisty. However, the OP was
complaining about having to press a button to play the sound, which is
very much new to me under OpenOffice. In fact, no matter how much I try,
I cannot get Impress to wait for me to press the button to play the
sound.
