Gnome System Log crashes after kernel update

After a couple of days and a dozen of boots, just after I began to
gather info to file a bug report, Gnome-System-Log decided to work
again. Maybe it got afraid. Nothing has changed on a very lean Feisty
configuration, I'm clueless but back on the road.
