latest kernal upgrade borked nvidia driver

I have installed both .28 and .29 and with both my nvidia still works flawlessly.
As i understand the last update (.29) did not change the ABI so there has not
been a need for a nvidia-glx update.

what exactly is your error?
(hint /var/log/Xorg.0.log)
