had to reboot - kernel bug?

Hello,

today I experimented strange issues with programs crashing and not
being able to kill them properly. These strange messages appear in my
kern.log. Anybody know what any of this means?

I am using Feisty, with ubuntu-security generic kernel image, on a Pentium D.
