Recovery of grub in ubuntu

Hello everyone,

I need to recover the grub configuration in ubuntu 7.04.
Before,I had ubuntu 7.04 installed together with windows xp.
This is my situation:
In the first partition I had win xp, in the second partition I had one ntfs
partition with data and Then other 4 partitions (/boot,/,/home,swap) for
linux.
I formatted the first partition and
I reinstalled xp again.
Now winxp removed  automatically the grub bootloader.
How can I recover it?
I tried to check some tutorials on the internet but I couldn't find
something that works correctly for my situation.
