Login again and again... but neve stop...

Someone else just had this problem running KDE.   But I suppose it could 
happen with Gnome too.   For some reason the window mgr cannot start up.

In my case and the other persons too, it was something messed up in the ~/.kde  
files.   Mving   .kde  to   .kde.sav  solves the problem of login but you 
lose a lot of your settings.   I have also seen this problem when the system 
is low on space and the window mgr can't  start up because of this.
