File too large for DVD

I downloaded the DVD iso version of ubuntu 7.04 as  ' Gutsy-dvd-i386 '  
but am unable to
create the image disc because the file is too large for a DVD.

What's the story about making an image of the DVD version of ubuntu 7.04?
