I also have a nvida graphics card, and realtek sound card... and 
everything worked fine, the nvida should be installed via the restricted 
drivers. um... try out the live cd (which is also the install cd) and 
see if sound works, if it does (and you dont have any special display 
resolutions, fiesty works best at 1024 x 768) then it should be fine.
