Scanner recommendations

Hello,
im currently on the lookout for an usb scanner, which should be
supported out of the box in edgy.

I occasionally have to scan bulk quantities in black and white with a
minor resolution (150 DPI or so), this should be fast. The occasional
high-res colour scan can take forever. It also doesn't need to be
bigger than A4.

Price limit would be  something like 100€ or 120$ (US).

Can somebody recommend a device?

Please no scanner/printer combinations, I have a printer already.
