That's good information. I may write to them too. The main reason I have
not got my father to run Ubuntu is problems with his Canon printer.
Personally, I always buy HP-printers since they develop their own Linux
drivers and works well.

The reason I bougth a cannon scanner was that I wanted the cheapest
scanner that worked with Linux .
