Locking down Ubuntu

I tried to unsubscribe from the Xubuntu list with their link like that and I
am still getting the digest.  I did finally get off of Ubuntu-Women.  But I
had to unsubscribe several times and wait a couple days for it to take
effect.  Maybe that is the problem she is having too?
