Added IDE card, drive numbering screwed up

Thanks for your continued help. I tried this, but the boot process just 
stalled at the "Waiting for root file system" prompt.

I tried altering my /boot/grub/devices.map getting grub to generate a 
new one with the wrongly-mapped hd devices, and altering it, but that 
didn't make a difference at all.

I checked lspci and it certainly does list the PCI IDE card before the 
mobo IDE, would there be some way of delaying the loading of the it821x 
module until /after/ the ide-generic one, wouldn't that solve the 
problem since it would discover the mobo ide, map that to /dev/hda etc, 
then load it821x and map those drives to /dev/hde etc..
