System Font for a Particular Language

When I am using some text display, say in 'gedit' or 'evolution' mail
composer, the normal system display is OK for English. But for languages
like Bangla (Bengali) the font of the same point size, seems a bit
small. Is it possible to increase this point size for fonts of a
particular language without changing the system-wide default font size
for English?
