user permissions problems

I would do a....

 

# grep "username" /etc/group

 

Make sure your "username" is listed in admin group

 

Admin:x::112:"username"

 

Then try login out of X...then log back in

	Can you use the terminal to set permission for the files in that
	directory? If  you can do that, does that cure the problem?
