Anyone tried installing ubuntu on a Dell XPS 1210?

can you spend some time with it using a live CD? The CD will allow 
complete functionality, and if you need to install stuff that is ok 
too, although it all happens in ram, and a bit slower. Just do not 
turn it off until you are ready to lose it.
