I agree that the design here is a little wonky... A classic example of
using a 'skin' instead of universal UI elements causing confusion (in
this case, the correct approach would have been a little "Mute" Check
box., or a mute push button with a descriptive icon.
However, in the Kmix application, these colored orbs are meant to look
like a LED indicator light, and are either illuminated or dark. None of
them are multi-color.
