As far as I'm aware sata_sil24.ko is available in Dapper kernels. You
can do

apt-file search sata_sil24.ko,

which will show which kernel packages have this module. In my case (with
Dapper sources) it returns:

# apt-file search sata_sil24.ko
linux-image-2.6.15-22-386:
lib/modules/2.6.15-22-386/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_sil24.ko
linux-image-2.6.15-22-686:
lib/modules/2.6.15-22-686/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_sil24.ko
linux-image-2.6.15-22-k7:
lib/modules/2.6.15-22-k7/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_sil24.ko
linux-image-2.6.15-22-server:
lib/modules/2.6.15-22-server/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_sil24.ko
linux-image-2.6.15-22-server-bigiron:
lib/modules/2.6.15-22-server-bigiron/kernel/drivers/scsi/sata_sil24.ko

I don't know if it's available on Breezy, maybe from backports?
