I will assume you tried to hibernate, and resume.  If so, you are 
probably interested in this bug:

You should read the chain about half the way through before deciding how 
you will handle it.  There are several different ways of going about it, 
and some of them could result in breakage.  As Scott mentions, there are 
really a couple of different bugs being discussed there, but they all 
have something to do with the new UUID method of describing the swap 
partition.
