Trying to install Ubuntu-server with Smart Boot Manager

Hi
I am trying to install Ubuntu-server 5.10
The computer does not boot from cdrom it will boot from the floppy
I am using the Smart Boot Manager it boot up ok but the cdrom is in the 
menu list
and I tried to boot from but I get a error of 0xAA so I set the cdrom to 
I/O ports to
1F0,3F6 but it still wont boot the cdrom
What else can I try to get it to boot the cdrom
