Hi Peter,

I managed to get the interface up with the links you've kindy provided.

Now I have a trouble with the communication.I'm trying this on ubuntu 6.06(2.6.15-27-386).

Any hints on how to proceed with it.

Have a look at

http://ubuntu.cafuego.net/dists/dapper-cafuego/bcm43xx/

for Dapper, or

http://us.ubuntu.cafuego.net/dists/edgy-cafuego/all/

for Edgy.

Also read:

https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel/2006-April/017323.html

.. and when you use the Cafuego repos , be sure to read the front page,
and get the gpg keys as outlined. I used this method on my iBook to get
the wireless working - it doesn't require the fwcutter, since the package
already puts everything in place for you.

HTH

Peter
