mkfs.ext3 /dev/hdcn Where n is the partition # such as /dev/hdc1
What is the exact mount command to mount it?
Add to /etc/fstab
<file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hdc1 /home/backup ext2 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
go to /home
#mkdir backup
That should do it.......
If not someone will chine in
