How do I get gnomeConf.sh

In these situations, you can either use the search on this website:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/

Or you can use the apt-file command line application:

apt-file search gnomeConf.sh
libgnome-dev: usr/lib/gnomeConf.sh

Which means the package that you need to install is libgnome-dev
