screensaver logging out - again

I thought this was fixed, but, I rebooted my Dapper desktop machine this
morning, left the room for about 30 minutes, came back, and I was logged
out again. I searched for more information on this, and found the
schema file (XML) that holds the screensaver information, and changed
the mode to "blank-only". I then logged out and back in.
I then went to System->Preferences->Screensaver. The mode was _not_
blank-only, and I was immediately logged out again.

I'm going to file a bug at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/simple-bug-guide.cgi?product=gnome-screensave

but, if anyone knows of any other pertinent files which control this, I
would appreciate it. (I did set up an empty ~/.screensaver, but I'm not
sure of the syntax of entries to put there).
