Sorry.  David draws attention to the fact that I really meant it defeats the
purpose of name-based vhosts.  Obviously, you can (and you do) have reason
to use both name & IP.  I think I prefer to keep my testing using different
domain names - it gets a little difficult to be sure which system you're
accessing if production & test use the same domain names, but I can see
your reasoning.
