Sorry to hear that. No doubt somewhere there is a Gnome guru who knows
just the single file which causes the problem, but until that somone
suggests a better way...

In any case, this shouldn't happen under normal circumstances, only
when you and/or some misbehaving program nukes your system and Gnome
is not shut down properly. This has only happened to me once in > 2
years.
