Dvd/RW Burner...???

I have an I/O Magic DVD+/-RW  Ubuntu detected it on boot nicely.
Works good so far in both windows and Ubuntu.  I've had it for about 2 months.

I have looked over a few but as all ways they mention only Windoze XP   
or M$soft's OS's but not Linux...
