gcstar fro Ubuntu

I saw an article on a collection maager called gcstar, the other day. Looks
interesting.

I downloaded the tarball, but it seems to require a whole bunch of perl
modules.

I'd rather not install this outside the package manager system. Is there a
place I can get a .deb for this, that will work on 6.10?
