Sending Mail from the CLI

Sure it's possible, but it highly depends on the set-up of the box. Is
there a "sendmail" equivalent binary you can use to send email out, is
there a local SMTP server running (and listening) or is there a remote
SMTP-server listening you might be able to use?

Each scenario needs a slightly different approach, so please tell us,
which is the one fitting your layout.
