Ubuntu 6.10 doesn't show fat32 partition

Last night Ubuntu 6.10 crashed, would not load the desktop.I re 
formatted, and installed Ubuntu 6.06. No problems with desktop so far.

The /etc/fstab does not have any commands for the winxp (hda2) or the 
data (hda3) partitions. I'm going to edit fstab to include these 
partitions tonight. I will report back.
