That's simply not true.  Most apps _will_ in fact work.  Some of them may
take you months to get working functionally, and some may never work really
well, but very few don't work at all under CrossOver.  The ones that don't
work at all mostly are support for specialized hardware - for which there
are no OSS drivers.
