Hi
Probably the easiest way by far is to use a program called Firestarter. 
I think it is excellent and when I first want to do internet sharing I 
tried this. Very simple, just follow the wizard when you first run it. 
You can find Firestarter through Synaptic or run the command:

$   sudo aptitude install firestarter -y
