evolution default view?

It's not the preview pane, but the style in which the message list is
displayed. you can set it by hand in view --> Current View , but for
some reason the default has been set to "for wide screen". I'm pretty
surethe fault is mine, but I can't remember how I did it (some while
ago). I'm reorganizing my mail right now so it's particularly
irritating .
